Weddings have gone to the Dogs

This weekend Imaginique Studios was the official photographer for the Humane Society of Genesee County’s Paws on Parade.  Hailey and Abigals Barking Babes Boutique from Fenton presented a dog/cats style show to help raise money for the Humane Society and all their educational events that they provide to our county.  The finale was the wedding style show centered around Hailey from Barking Babes and her beau Hansom Harry of Holly (owned by Sharon and Mark Krolik).  The the bride wore a custom designed gown by Emma Rose Designs of Rhode Island.  The gown was first worn on the fashion runway in New York at the Pet Fashion Week Show.  The bodice was covered in pearls and Swarovski crystals, the two foot train was satin with a intricate lace and cutwork design, the investment for this gown was a mere $2500!  Hansom Harry was decked out in a black cutaway tux jacket and top hat.  The bridal party sported individually designed dresses from the 2008 Emma Rose Design collection.  The maid of honor was Abigal in a gold satin gown with beading and multi-colored Swarovski crystals.  Ellie (owned by Debbie Ankeny) was dressed in a turquise gown with crystal flowers on the skirt, and last but not to be outdone was Emme Sue (owned by Cindy Hering), she wore a one piece black knit mini dress.  The dress was covered with multicolored crystals that reflected the color of the lights and sold for $1800.
